For accurate results, it is best to follow these guidelines, and the information provided to you.
Firstly, certain biomarkers can be affected by food intake, if recommended and able to, try and fast for 8-12 hours before the test, similarly avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before taking the LFT blood test, as alcohol can temporarily elevate some liver enzymes.
Always consult with your healthcare provider about any medications you are taking, as some drugs can have an impact on your test results, only temporarily halt medication if specifically directed to do so.
