This test profile includes a pre-diabetic blood test specifically for the HbA1c Biomarker and random glucose, Cholesterol test including: LDL, HDL, Cholesterol and Triglycerides, Anaemia screen and Vitamin D test.  
  • The pre-diabetic blood test included in this test profile is specifically designed to measure the level of the HbA1c biomarker and random glucose in the blood. HbA1c is a measure of the average blood sugar level over the past 2-3 months and is used to screen for pre-diabetic and diabetic status.
  • The cholesterol test included in this profile measures several different types of cholesterol, including LDL (low-density lipoprotein), HDL (high-density lipoprotein), and triglycerides. LDL cholesterol is commonly referred to as “bad” cholesterol, while HDL is known as “good” cholesterol. Triglycerides which are also measured are a type of fat that can contribute to heart disease.
  • An anaemia screen is also included in this test profile. Anaemia occurs when the body does not have enough red blood cells or haemoglobin, which can result in fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath. .
